I’ve been online for a very long time, and in recent years have longed for the kind of communication we had online back in those days. This project is an attempt at a recreation of that.

Using the tilde server as a model and taking heavy inspiration from communities like tilde.town and tilde.club I created a public server for the community of a class that I took in school. We were all able to join the computer through our terminals, create, hang out, and talk with each other, from all across the country and world.

Alongside the public server I also created an extensive guide to the terminal, aimed towards first time users. This is also housed on the website created for the tilde.

The tilde is still up and functional as of writing.
