Their work is about the making, the connections between weaver and product, loom as interface, cloth as body, warmth, and the self. Eric creates objects meant to be used, loved, destroyed, and mended.

Eric is a queer, inderdisciplinary designer and fiber artist. They are particularly interested in the memory of materials and how textiles can be utilized as record keeping devices. With a deep focus on the making process, Eric creates objects meant to be used, loved, destroyed, and mended.

BREAD IN MY MOUTH

8.5” x 11”, 288p.
Originally an exploration of a speculative world entirely based on the creation and sharing of food, quickly became a sprawling personal essay on my relationship with food and religion through my youth.

This multi-media book contains cyanotypes, screenprints, nets, quilts, knitting, sewing, and collages alongside many photomontage style sections. All held within a hand-stitched, hardcover coptic binding.
